Design Brief
Picture book illustration for the Native American Lore "How Bear Lost His Tail". This project was collaborative work along with DERT as they launch a series of book products that take classic literature (which are available to the public domain) and repackages them as new printed books with a 21st century perspective. After the project is finished, DERT will donate all profits from its books sales to its literacy partner, The Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP). With over 50 years of proven success, PCHP is dedicated to ensuring that low-income children have access to books, and has the opportunity to enter school ready for success.
